I LOVE Mama Manifesto, and I especially love receiving their Mama Memo every Sunday where I relate with many of their postings and get inspired by their creativity. When I opened my Memo today, the first blog is called "Where Does the Time Go?" and I completely related! Check it out. i love that post! mostly because that's how i feel now. i just can't believe that motherhood experiences are universal. haha.
I'm extra sensitive to the issue of friendship and motherhood b/c my BFF (Shawna) just had Caroline this year and I am extra careful to make sure I don't lose her as a friend b/c of that...I've seen it happen to many friends, but I think it only happens w/ friends like this or ones who don't seem to appreciate and try to understand the new life of the mommy. I try to be supportive and I am very interested in her new life and hearing all about it. Anyway, as a someday-mom it's neat to have someone so great with words explain motherhood....that was a GREAT explanation! Loved it! Thanks for sharing!
